Orlando 2015

Over spring break this year we went with my mom and step dad to Orlando. We stayed at nice resort with golf courses, lots of pools and a lazy river. It was awesome just being in the warm sunshine. I was ready for some sun for sure! We were pretty laid back during our week. We stayed at the resort most of the time except for taking the Littles to Magic Kingdom on Thursday and Josh taking Isaac and our nephew Gabe, to Universal on Friday.

Monday we went to Downtown Disney at ate at Raglan Road. We ate there on our way back from our cruise last year and the bread with Guinness dip was enough to make me want to come back. Olivia loved watching the Irish dancers and Eli even got up on stage and danced a jig!

He loves Legos and was excited to go to the Lego store

On Tuesday we journeyed to the Magic Kingdom. Eli and Olivia got into a war about whether we were riding the ferry or monorail over even though we told them we would be able to do both. Olivia was determined to wear her princess dress! At least it wasn't blazing hot where it would be uncomfortable. The high was around 82. We got several fast passes to ride rides; however Elsa and Anna did not have a fast pass available that day because it was so booked. We waited in line 90 minutes!! Eli and Olivia were beat by the time we left that evening and I was pretty tired as well!

Josh and the guys played golf twice and Isaac had a private golf lesson one day. Isaac is all into golf right now because he joined the golf team at his high school. Nana, the littles and I played in the pools all day. Eli and Olivia loved the zero entry pools and played so well. They both make friends with other kids very easily.

On Friday the big boys headed over to Universal. I was jealous they got to ride all the Harry Potter attractions! Every time we come to Universal I'm pregnant!

Our resort had unlimited putt putting, this huge slide, beach playground, and a climbing wall. Eli loved the slide. I lost count of how many times he went down. Olivia went down once and she was done. I was totally shocked she even went down. She had to climb that huge ladder solo and slide down by herself. You can see her little body half way up on that picture. It was super HIGH!

15 week apt

This pregnancy is flying by. My next visit will be our ultrasound apt. Today's visit went great. Baby's heartbeat was around  150, my BP and urine sample was normal. I'm up to 127 lbs!!! I was hoping not to gain my usual 35 but it looks like that's probably not going to happen. I've been feeling the baby move positions when I'm laying down but haven't felt kicks and jabs yet. I love feeling the little hiccups and kicks in pregnancy so I'm looking forward to that.  I'm trying to enjoy this one as it is planning to be the last!

Eli is FIVE

46 lbs (81%)
44 inches (75%)

Eli is five! He is such a joy to our family. He asks me amazingly complex questions daily that I don't always have the answer to and is full of energy. He loves to play outside, ride tractors/golf carts/lawnmower at his grandparents' houses. He enjoys sword fights and Nintendo with Isaac, and  playing with Olivia. The really get along super well. He's always willing to share his candy with her, helps her off the bar stools, and gets her water. He's a good big brother. He's very independent. He takes a bath (including hair washing and body) by himself, can make a  PB & J  or turkey sandwich with mayo. He's very adept at making chocolate milk as well.

He had lots of parties; two cakes plus cupcakes this year. He wanted to go snow tubing so we had a small party for him before his birthday while the tubing place was still open. Eli and his cousin Carter had the best time. They were sledding non-stop the entire time.

We made cupcakes together and took them to his pk class on his actual birthday and then he had a party with friends at the park on March 21st. This boy sure was celebrated.

I had him answer these questions on his birthday this year. It's so cute to see how his answers change year to year.

2 weeks of snow

After waiting and hoping for snow all winter we finally got some! The first time it was inches of ice with a bit of snow, our second snow 2-3 inches, but the last snow was lovely... 5 inches of power to play in. The kids were so excited to sled, build Olaf and have snow ball fights. We made delicious snow Creme and had loads of family fun.

11 week appointment- Baby 4

I went in for my 11 week appointment today. All my blood work came back fine and blood pressure was normal. I've gained 3 pounds already since my last appointment- ahh! My Dr went to listen to baby's heartbeat with the doppler and could not find it. I was of course a nervous wreck because I had a dream last night that she couldn't find it. My OB sent me downstairs for an ultrasound even though she said she wasn't concerned. The technician had the screen turned around where I couldn't see it so as soon as she said there's a heartbeat I breathed. Praise God! Josh was with me as well so he helped calm me down. The baby measured 11 week 2 days (one day ahead) and it's little heartbeat was 154. We saw its arms, legs and little hand. I was amazed at how much is developed at 11 weeks! I am very thankful this baby is ok!

7 weeks with Baby 4

We had our first appointment today for the baby. Josh and I saw it's little heart flickering away. I measured right on target based on my last period. We were waiting on telling all the family until we had a confirmed little bean in there! I ordered Olivia a Big Sis shirt  from Etsy a few weeks ago after I found out I was pregnant. She wore her shirt to Josh's family on Sunday afternoon when all his brothers, sister, nieces/nephews, Mom and Dad were there. She came in the door holding out her little shirt (we didn't even tell her to do that) and people commented I like your shirt... wait.. BIG sister! Everyone was very excited for us and not all that surprised!

Expecting AGAIN!

Number 4! Yes, we are fully aware what causes this to happen ;) Josh comes from a family with 4 siblings, we have one spare bedroom in our house, and I've always considered the possibility of four.  We stopped preventing in October and tada.. Number 4 is on it's way. Usually I get pregnant on the first try so when it didn't happen right away I actually told Josh if i wasn't pregnant by my birthday in April I was putting the mirena back in. I'm actually super nervous this time around. I feel that way each subsequent pregnancy. With Isaac I wasn't worried about anything but now I'm paranoid about everything. I am praying for a happy, healthy baby! Boy or girl I could care less. I've saved baby stuff for both sexes so there's not much we are going to need for this one! We found out I was pregnant on January 5th when I took a series of tests...one is never enough ;)

Amanda

Kellie and I visited our childhood friend, Amanda who was spent Christmas in the hospital and 30 days afterwards. She was diagnosed with leukemia but Praise GOD chemo has worked and she is in remission. We were so happy to see her!
